A long, slender band of silk — about 86 × 5 cm — born from the twill weave whose fine diagonal ribbing gives it its name. A slim reinterpretation of the great scarf, the twilly ties at the neck, in the hair, at the wrist or around a bag handle: a hundred ways in a single gesture. It appeared in the early 2000s and became a small classic — so much so that in 2017 the perfumer Christine Nagel dedicated the fragrance “Twilly d'Hermès” to it, the portrait of a free-spirited young woman. This is the twilly by GIORGIO: the large designs taken from his own foulards.
